Grant Projects

Sutter County RCD is always seeking funding for a variety of projects in our district. Past projects have included stream restoration, invasive species removal, air quality improvement, illegal dumping cleanup, and agricultural technical assistance. Mobile Irrigation Lab

A FREE SERVICE to farmers that helps them determine how efficent their pump/irrigation system is running during the peak irrigation time periods. This service consists of taking the PSI output at the pump as well as different sprinklers around the field. We then rank these outputs from low, medium, and high PSI levels and map it along with a written report of data we collected in the field, what we found, recommendations we may have, and a D.U. score that indicates how well your water is being distributed across your field.

Natural Resources Conservation Service Assistance

Through a contribution agreement, SCRCD provides irrigation water mangement, air quality, and general contract assistance to agricultural producers in Yuba and Sutter Counties. SCRCD assists these producers comply with the standards and specifications of their NRCS contracts. SCRCD is also working with NRCS to promote the benefits of good soil health and encourage producers to implement such practices.

SCRCD provides the following services at a competetive billing rate to municipalities, nonprofits, and other interested parties:

Compliance Officer

Sutter County Resource Conservation District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations. The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.

In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards, Sutter County Resource Conservation District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
